Jesse Sostrin – Vice President of Leadership & Organization Development
Executive Director of Wilshire Community Services
Jesse Sostrin, PhD holds two concurrent positions at Wilshire. He is the Vice President of Leadership & Organization Development at Wilshire Health & Community Services in San Luis Obispo, CA. In this role, Jesse is responsible for developing and deploying a company-wide leadership and organization development strategy and for providing senior-level consultation and resources to the Southern California, Central Valley, and Central Coast agencies and programs that comprise Wilshire Health & Community Services. In addition, Jesse fulfills the role of Executive Director for Wilshire’s Community Services division, which includes the leadership of five innovative non-profit organizations.
Prior to joining Wilshire Health & Community Services in 2009, Jesse was the Chief Executive Officer of Creative Mediation, a public benefit dispute resolution, facilitation, and training firm in San Luis Obispo, California. In that role Jesse set the strategic direction for the agency’s conflict mediation, facilitation and training operations. In addition to his contributions at Wilshire, Jesse speaks, writes and consults about conflict resolution, leadership and organization development, and learning and performance in the workplace.
Traci Mello – Program Director
Traci Mello is Wilshire Community Services' Prevention and Early Intervention Services Coordinator. In this role, Traci works with older adults in San Luis Obispo County, serving as a source of support as they navigate through the difficult transitions associated with aging. Prior to joining the team at Wilshire, Traci worked with Santa Barbara County Adult Protective Services as an investigator and case manager.
Traci has many years of experience working with the older adult population, holds a Master's Degree in Clinical Psychology, a Certificate of Aging from the Institute of Geriatric Social Work, Boston University and is a Registered Marriage and Family Therapist Intern. Traci currently resides in the beautiful five cities area of San Luis Obispo County with her husband, Devin, and extremely spoiled dog, Fetzer. When not working, Traci enjoys spending time at the beach, traveling, and socializing with friends.
Jessica Devereaux – Case Manager
Jessica Devereaux is the Senior Services Coordinator for Wilshire Community Services. Her position entails assessing the varying needs of the clients and coordinating service deliveries for the Senior Services programs including the Caring Callers and Good Neighbor Programs. Before coming to Wilshire Community Services, Jessica was the Intake and Respite Coordinator for the Life Steps Foundation.
Jessica has a bachelor’s degree in Psychology and is a state certified crisis counselor. She currently volunteers with the Sexual Assault Recovery and Prevention Center in San Luis Obispo. As a central coast native, Jessica enjoys spending time at the beach and camping with her family.
Kimberly Hudson – Service Coordinator
Kimberly Hudson serves alongside our dedicated volunteers to assist older adults in San Luis Obispo County. Through recruitment, training, and on-going support Kimberly is honored to help volunteers as they bring their energy and unique talents to benefit our community. Before joining the Senior Services team Kimberly completed a term of service with Transitions – Mental Health Association through the AmeriCorps: Volunteer Infrastructure Project. She also worked with Family Care Network, Inc. throughout the county for over two years.
Kimberly has years of volunteer experience and holds a Master’s Degree in Education: Counseling and Guidance from Cal Poly, San Luis Obispo as well as a B.A. in Psychology from George Fox University in Oregon. While she almost always has a big trip planned, Kimberly loves coming home to the natural beauty and small town feel of SLO County. Recently, she’s been inspired to take up gardening and is always looking forward to hearing stories and learning something new.
