Volunteer

Welcome! You can get started as a Good Neighbor right away. If you have any questions you can call (805) 547-7025 ext. 26 or e-mail goodneighbor@wilshirehcs.org. All volunteers must complete an Application, Background Check Authorization, and Volunteer Agreement. As listed on the application a DMV print-out must also be included and can be obtained here or at any Department of Motor Vehicles location.

Completion of the volunteer training is required before we can match volunteers with our clients. For those planning to provide much needed transportation we have a brief Driver Handbook and a few Driver Forms.

Questions and completed forms can be mailed or dropped off to the Service Coordinator at 285 South St. Suite J, submitted via e-mail to goodneighbor@wilshirehcs.org, or even faxed ATTN: Senior Service Coordinator to (805) 547-7030.

Current volunteers can download blank Activity Records here! These Activity Records are due by the 10th of each month. You can call, mail, e-mail, fax, and/or drop off your hours to the Service Coordinator at:
